Phd was intiated in June of 98 although under a different name at the time the mastermind of some of the craziest Hip Hop beats were and still is Stel a.k.a Octave, Octave worked with many underground artists of the day like Theology3, kamau, J-staxx, to name a few as his reputation grew so did the projects Jan 2006 had him produce arrange and mix the Album ‘What must be done” for Wasun then took part in the Battle of the Beatmakers on short notice just for the experience Feb 2006.
March 2006 had him working on the Album “True story” arranged and recorded 2 songs for the R&B artist: Sean Simmons. In the summer of 06 Octave started working with Righteous on the mix cd Album Righteous the Administrator of truth being released April 07 as well as his own Debut Album “Proof of Life” due in June of 07. He will also be contributing his production skills to Mark Theland’s Debut Album“My Voice My time” Due the end of Summer 07
Falconer’s Bio Falconer has been in the entertainment field for over 17 years and is more than just an incredible voice with his patience and sincere desire to see success out of his students. After having completely read and understood many books on singing including "Singing for the stars" by Seth Riggs, "Voice of the mind' by Herbert E. Caesar, Falconer sought out Bill Vincent, the only teacher in Canada thoroughly familiar with the speech-level approach to singing, and has been under his tutelage for the past 16 years. He is now an associate of Bill Vincent of Voices and Company and is teaching the same "spoken-level" approach that Bill has taught him.
He has found that this technique gives the most effective use of both the head and chest voices by solidifying the transition.
Falconer has been teaching for the past 10 years.
He is a graduate of the Humber College Music Program.
He also has four top thirty Canadian Idol contestants who he has taught.
